These programs are tailored to the requests and specific interests of the participants and organizers, who can determine all aspects of the program: duration, period, teaching content, cultural program, excursions, board and lodging.
These programs can be organized at any time of the year. We can provide cost estimates and detailed programs based on specific requests. A stay in Italy, albeit short, can be very stimulating for young students, who will have the opportunity to come into direct contact with the Italian language and culture, and above all, thanks to our program, will be able to meet Italian school students their own age who are studying the same subjects (high school subjects, professional studies, tourism, commerce, languages, etc.).
Language Course:
2, 3 or 4 hours of lessons per day in groups with students of a similar level. If all participants have the same level of Italian, classes will be formed solely for them; otherwise each student will be included in a group with students of his/her level. Each group will be lead by two teachers.
Cultural program:
Extracurricular activities will be organized on the basis of the group’s specific requests and needs. Options include: guided tours of Rome with itineraries for the history of art and architecture, presentation and screening of films of Italian directors, talks and seminars on literature, art history, pop music, opera, and on specific fields of participants’ professional interests, seminars on Italian cuisine and wines, excursions outside Rome (Ostia Antica, Tivoli, Castelli Romani, Orvieto, Florence, Naples, Pompeii, etc.).
It is also possible to organize meetings with experts who work in the same professional fields as the students, as well as visits to institutions, factories, production and training centres.
Exchange activities with Italian schools and the TANDEM program
Visits will be organized to schools with the same curriculum orientation as that of the course participants to give students an inside look at the Italian schools and professional training system, and above all to foster the exchange of ideas with young Italian colleagues.
Our group and individual “TANDEM” program, in which foreign participants meet their Italian peers who are studying their language, has proven to be a lively and interesting way to practice language skills.
If desired, “Tandem Meetings” will be organized on topics of particular interest to Italian and foreign participants, for example national and regional cuisine, sports and leisure activities, music and songs of the respective countries, etc.
These meetings take place under the guidance of instructors and allow for linguistic exchange in real situations.
Group Accommodation:
Group accommodation will be arranged in hotels for young people located in the centre of Rome and near the school, in single rooms or rooms with two or more beds, with breakfast or half board.
For groups of older students, accommodations, with use of the kitchen, are arranged in private homes with Italians.
On request, lunches and dinners at modest prices can be arranged in trattorie and restaurants.
